Outbound: the agent calls

Mobile glass jobs confirmed the night before

A mobile tech who drives forty minutes to an empty driveway loses half a morning. Each job is confirmed the night before, and the rainy-day ones move before the van leaves.

When it starts

Tomorrow's mobile route, or a forecast of rain or deep cold on a mobile day.

What the agent does

Confirms the address, parking and cover, and reschedules or moves the job into the shop when weather won't allow it.

What your team gets

A route that holds, with every stop confirmed and notes on where the car will be.

How it works

  1. Calls the evening before

Each customer on tomorrow's route, at the time you choose, with the window and the work being done.

  2. Pins down the spot

Home or work, which lot, which level, which car. A note like "grey Civic, visitor parking, row C" saves the tech ten minutes.

  3. Asks about cover

A garage, a carport or an open lot. Urethane needs a dry windshield and a temperature your shop sets.

  4. Watches the weather

If the forecast is wet or below your cut-off, it offers the shop instead, or the next mobile day for their area.

  5. Reschedules on the call

Two new times right then, and the opened stop goes to the next job on the waitlist for that area.

  6. Texts the tech's window

In the morning, the customer gets a text with the window and the tech's name.

Example call

  1. AI agentHi Mrs. Bouchard, it's Emma from Riverside Glass. Just confirming tomorrow between 9 and 11 for the windshield on your RAV4. Still good?
  2. CustomerYes, at home. Is the rain a problem? They're calling for showers.
  3. AI agentGood question. Do you have a garage the tech can work in?
  4. CustomerOnly a carport, and it's open on one side.
  5. AI agentWith showers in the forecast, our techs like a closed garage. I can move you to the shop tomorrow at 9, or keep you mobile on Thursday, which looks dry. Which is better?
  6. CustomerThursday at home, then.
  7. AI agentDone, Thursday between 9 and 11 at home, carport noted. I'll text you in the morning with the tech's name.

After the call: Tomorrow's 9-to-11 stop opens for a waitlisted job in the same area, the RAV4 moves to Thursday's route with "open carport" noted, and the tech's route sheet updates.

What your team gets

  • Tomorrow's route confirmed stop by stop
  • Exact parking spots and cover noted for each job
  • Weather moves made the night before, not in the driveway
  • Opened stops offered to waitlisted jobs in that area
  • A morning text to every customer with the tech's window
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your mobile route and scheduling software and a weather feed, and sets your confirmation time, rain and cold rules and service areas.

Questions

Who decides the weather cut-off?

Your shop. You set the temperature and rain rules once, and every confirmation follows them.

Call or text?

Your choice. Many shops text first and call when there's no reply by 7.

What if nobody answers?

It leaves a short message and a text. Stops still unconfirmed by morning are flagged for the tech to phone ahead.
