Outbound: the agent calls

Special-order RV parts called in when they land

A special-order water pump on the shelf for two weeks is money sitting still. The agent calls the day it lands and books the pickup or the install.

When it starts

A special-order part is received at the parts counter.

What the agent does

Calls the customer, books a pickup or a service install, and texts the details.

What your team gets

Parts off the shelf faster, and installs on the service schedule.

How it works

  1. Sees the part arrive

When the parts desk receives a special order, the customer goes on the call list.

  2. Calls with the news

"The awning arm for your Montana came in."

  3. Asks pickup or install

Will they put it in themselves, or book it with service?

  4. Books the install

A service slot with the part already noted on the work order.

  5. Gives the pickup steps

Parts counter hours and the amount owing, from the order.

  6. Retries if needed

A voicemail and a text, then another call in two days.

After the call: The work order opens for Tuesday 8:00 with the hub and bearing kit attached, and the parts desk marks the part as assigned.

What your team gets

  • Installs booked with the part on the work order
  • Pickups with the amount owing from the order
  • A list of parts sitting more than a week
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your dealer management system's parts and service modules, and sets the calling hours and retries.
