Inbound: the customer calls

Pool openings booked before Victoria Day

Everyone wants their pool open for the May long weekend, and they all call the same three weeks. Emma books each opening with what the crew needs to know, and keeps a waitlist when the dates are gone.

When it starts

A pool owner calls in April or May to get the pool opened.

What the agent does

Asks pool type, cover, sanitizer and equipment, offers real open dates, books or waitlists.

What your team gets

An opening route where every job has the cover, equipment and chemical start-up noted.

How it works

  1. Answers through the rush

Fifty calls on the first warm Saturday, all answered, while your counter staff test water samples.

  2. Learns the pool

Inground or above-ground, vinyl liner or concrete, roughly what size.

  3. Learns the cover and gear

Safety cover or water-bag tarp, salt or chlorine, gas heater or heat pump, any automation. Each changes what the crew brings.

  4. Offers real dates

Only dates the opening crews still have. Once Victoria Day weekend is gone, she says so and offers the next ones.

  5. Quotes from your list

Your opening prices by pool type, and the start-up chemical kit if you sell one.

  6. Keeps a waitlist

Customers who want an earlier date go on a list. If a crew finishes early, she calls them.

Example call

  1. CustomerHi, when can you open our pool? The kids are already asking.
  2. AI agentLet's find you a date. Is it inground or above-ground, and what kind of cover do you have on it?
  3. CustomerInground, with the mesh safety cover. It's a salt pool.
  4. AI agentThanks. Any heater?
  5. CustomerA gas heater, yes.
  6. AI agentGot it. Our inground opening with a safety cover is 425 dollars. The May long weekend is booked, but I have Tuesday May 13 or Thursday May 15. I can put you on the list for anything earlier.
  7. CustomerThe 13th, and yes, put us on the list.
  8. AI agentDone. You're booked for Tuesday the 13th and on the early list. I'll text you the confirmation and what to have ready.

After the call: The opening is on the May 13 route with "inground, mesh safety cover, salt, gas heater" noted, and the family is on the waitlist for an earlier date. The crew loads the salt start-up kit for that stop.

What your team gets

  • Openings booked with pool, cover, sanitizer and heater details
  • Only real open dates offered
  • A waitlist for earlier dates, called when crews free up
  • Your opening prices given the same way every time
  • Call summaries and recordings in the portal
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your Jobber or Service Fusion schedule and customer records, and loads your opening prices, crew capacity and what each crew needs to know.

Questions

Will it promise the long weekend?

Only if there's an open slot. When it's full, it says so and offers the next real dates.

Can it sell the start-up kit?

It mentions the kit you choose and adds it to the job so the crew brings it.

Does it know returning customers?

Yes. It finds them by phone number and confirms last year's pool details instead of asking again.
