Outbound: the agent calls

Equity and lease-end calls

Your next sale is already in your service drive. The agent calls owners with a lease ending or equity in their car and books a no-pressure look at their options.

When it starts

A lease maturing, a vehicle worth more than its payoff, high kilometres, or a service visit coming up.

What the agent does

Calls with a friendly, no-pressure reason, learns what they need now, books a visit.

What your team gets

An appointment with the sales manager, the customer's needs and their current vehicle.

How it works

  1. Finds the owners

From your DMS and CRM: leases ending in the months you choose, loans where the car is worth more than the payoff, high-kilometre vehicles, and customers booked for service soon.

  2. Calls with a real reason

"Your lease is up in March, I wanted to make sure you've got options before then." Never a hard pitch.

  3. Learns what changed

A new baby, a longer commute, a kid starting to drive. The questions a good salesperson asks, without the pressure.

  4. Books the visit

With the sales manager, or alongside their next service visit so it's one trip.

  5. Hands it to sales

The sales manager sees the current vehicle, what the customer said they need, and their lease or loan dates before they walk in.

  6. Keeps the rest warm

Not ready? It notes when to call back and tells sales who said "maybe in the spring".

Example call

  1. AI agentHi Dana, it's Emma from Riverside Honda. Is now an okay time? It's about your CR-V lease.
  2. CustomerOh, right. That's up soon, isn't it?
  3. AI agentIn March. I wanted to make sure you have time to look at your options, keep it, buy it or move into something new. Has anything changed since you got it?
  4. CustomerHonestly, we've got a second kid on the way. It's feeling small.
  5. AI agentCongratulations! A lot of families in that spot look at the Pilot or the Odyssey. No pressure at all. Want to come see both and talk to Sam about your lease?
  6. CustomerYeah, that'd be good.
  7. AI agentYour CR-V's also due for an oil change. Want to do both Saturday morning? I have 9:30.
  8. CustomerPerfect.

After the call: Sam has Saturday 9:30 with Dana's lease end date, "second kid on the way" and "Pilot or Odyssey" in the notes, and service has the oil change booked for the same visit.

What your team gets

  • Sales appointments from customers you already have
  • Each customer's current vehicle, lease or loan dates and needs, before the visit
  • Sales visits paired with service visits when it fits
  • A callback date for every "not yet"
  • A report of owners called, booked and sold
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your DMS and CRM for lease, loan and service data, and sets with your sales manager which owners to call, when, and which manager gets the appointments.

Questions

Does it quote a payment or buyout?

No. It books the conversation. Payments, buyouts and trade values come from your sales manager.

How does it decide who to call?

From the rules you set: lease months remaining, equity, kilometres, model year, or an upcoming service visit.

Will it sound like a sales call?

It calls with a real reason and asks what's changed in their life. If they're happy where they are, it says so and lets them go.

Can it book around a service visit?

Yes. If the customer is already coming in for service, it offers to meet sales during the same visit.
