Inbound: the customer calls

Non-running cars and transports quoted and booked

"I need a car moved from my driveway, no rush" is good money if someone answers. The agent quotes from your rates, books it into the slow hours, and the driver shows up with the right truck.

When it starts

A caller needs a non-running car, a purchase or a project car moved on a set day.

What the agent does

Takes pickup and drop-off, quotes from your rates, books a time, texts the details.

What your team gets

A scheduled job with distance, truck type and the price the customer heard.

How it works

  1. Takes both ends

Pickup address and drop-off, and how the car sits: in a garage, on flat tires, no keys, low to the ground.

  2. Works out the distance

Kilometres between the two addresses, for the per-kilometre part of your rate.

  3. Quotes from your rates

Hookup or flatbed fee plus kilometres, with any extras you list like winching or a dolly. Anything unusual goes to dispatch for a price.

  4. Books a quiet time

The windows you keep for scheduled work, like mid-morning on weekdays, so emergencies aren't squeezed.

  5. Confirms who'll be there

Someone with the keys at pickup and someone to receive it, or where to leave it. A text with all of it.

Example call

  1. CustomerHi, I need a car moved that doesn't run. It's in my driveway in Callander, going to a shop in North Bay. No rush.
  2. AI agentHappy to. What's the car, and does it roll and steer?
  3. Customer2009 Mustang. Rolls fine, it's low though.
  4. AI agentA low car goes on the flatbed. The shop's address?
  5. CustomerLakeshore Drive, Pinewood Auto.
  6. AI agentThat's about 14 kilometres. Our flatbed fee is 120 dollars plus 3 dollars a kilometre, so about 162 dollars before tax. I have Tuesday or Wednesday morning between 9 and 11.
  7. CustomerWednesday works. I'll be home.
  8. AI agentBooked for Wednesday between 9 and 11, flatbed, Callander to Pinewood Auto. I'll text you the details and the quote.

After the call: A scheduled flatbed job sits on Wednesday's board with both addresses, "low car" and the 162-dollar quote. The customer and Pinewood Auto both get a text with the window.

What your team gets

  • Scheduled jobs booked into the hours you keep for them
  • Quotes from your rates, with the distance worked out
  • Truck type chosen from how the car sits
  • A text to the customer and the drop-off point
Set up with you: The team loads your hookup, flatbed and per-kilometre rates and the hours for scheduled work, and sets up a connection to your dispatch software (Towbook, Omadi or Beacon) so bookings land on the board.

Questions

Will it price a recovery or winch-out?

Can it book long-distance transports?

Yes, at the rates you give for long hauls, or as a quote request for dispatch.

What about dealer and body shop accounts?

It recognizes account customers by name or number and books them on account terms.
