Standing adjustment times moved, added and rebooked
Most calls to a chiropractic office are regulars moving their Tuesday or asking for an extra visit before a big week. They're handled on the call, with the patient's standing time kept and the chiropractor's plan followed.
A regular patient calls to move, add, cancel or rebook an adjustment.
Moves or adds the visit inside the care plan, keeps their standing time, opens the old slot.
An up-to-date schedule and a front desk that isn't on the phone between check-ins.
How it works
- Knows the patient
Their chiropractor, their standing time, and the visit frequency on their care plan.
- Moves the visit
Two openings near their usual time, on the day they ask, and the old slot opens for someone else.
- Adds an extra one
Before a tournament, a move or a long drive, if the chiropractor's plan allows extra visits. Otherwise a note to the chiropractor.
- Keeps the standing time
A one-off change doesn't disturb their usual Tuesday at 7:30, unless they want it moved for good.
- Books the massage too
If they want a massage after the adjustment, she checks the RMT's opening right after.
- Texts the change
New time, old time cancelled, and the standing time still there.
Example call
- CustomerHi, it's Kayla Brooks. Can I come in twice this week instead of once? I've got a volleyball tournament Saturday.
- AI agentHi Kayla. You're with Dr. Chen on Tuesday at 7:30. Want to keep that and add Friday?
- CustomerYes, exactly.
- AI agentDr. Chen has Friday at 4:45 or 6:15. Which is better?
- Customer4:45.
- AI agentYou're booked Friday at 4:45, and Tuesday at 7:30 stays. Good luck at the tournament. I'll text you both.
After the call: Kayla has Tuesday 7:30 and an extra Friday 4:45 with Dr. Chen, her standing time is untouched, and the desk didn't take the call.

Questions
Can she change a care plan?
No. She books within the plan. Anything more goes to the chiropractor as a note.
What about a cancellation fee?
She mentions your late-cancellation policy only if you want her to, in your words.
Can she move all of a patient's visits at once?
Yes. A new standing day and time can be set for the rest of their plan.
