Root touch-up calls at six to eight weeks
Plenty of colour clients leave saying "I'll call to book." At six to eight weeks, the agent calls them first, with their own stylist and service, before they try the salon down the street.
A colour client with no future booking, at the interval their stylist set.
Calls with their usual service and stylist, offers two times, books it.
Rebooked colour clients, and a list of who said later and when to try again.
How it works
- Builds the list each week
Colour clients with no next appointment, at the interval on their card: six weeks for roots, eight for a gloss, twelve for balayage.
- Calls about their own hair
"Priya noted your roots at six weeks." The client hears their usual service and stylist, not a blast about a promotion.
- Offers their stylist first
Two openings with the same stylist, sized to their usual service. If that stylist is booked solid, it says so and offers the next date or another colourist.
- Books and confirms
A text with the stylist, time and service, and the reminder the day before.
- Respects "not now"
A client travelling, pregnant or growing it out is asked when to call back. A client who says stop isn't called again.
Example call
- AI agentHi Nadia, it's Emma from Birch and Bloom. Got a second? Priya had you down for roots around now and I didn't see a booking.
- CustomerOh, yes, they're definitely showing.
- AI agentPriya has next Tuesday at 6 or Saturday at 10:15 for your root touch-up and cut. Either work?
- CustomerSaturday's hard. Tuesday at 6.
- AI agentBooked, Tuesday at 6 with Priya. Would you like me to book the one after that too, at six weeks, so you're not chasing a spot?
- CustomerSure, why not.
- AI agentDone. I'll text you both dates now.
After the call: Nadia has two bookings with Priya, next Tuesday and six weeks after, and both dates show on Priya's column with her usual root formula noted.

Questions
Won't clients find this pushy?
It calls once, about their own usual service with their own stylist. If they say not now, it asks when. If they say stop, it stops.
What if their stylist left the salon?
It says so kindly and offers a colourist at the same level who can work from the formula on their card.
Can it call for cuts too, not just colour?
Yes. You set an interval for each service, such as six weeks for a short cut.
