Move elevator booked against the building rules
Month-end in a 300-suite tower means a dozen moves and a concierge desk buried in calls. Residents book the move elevator by phone at any hour, hear the deposit and padding rules, and concierge sees the day's moves on one list.
An owner or tenant calls to book a move in or out.
Checks the elevator calendar and the rules, books the slot, explains the deposit.
A booked move on the elevator calendar, and concierge told who is arriving and when.
How it works
- Confirms the resident
Suite number and name against the owner and tenant records. A tenant moving in is matched to the lease the owner registered.
- Checks the calendar
Open move slots on the date they want, inside your rules: weekdays only, no Sunday moves, one move per slot, three-hour blocks.
- Explains the rules
The refundable deposit, padding on the elevator, the loading dock height for the truck, and that the move has to end by the time you set.
- Books the slot
On the elevator calendar with the suite, the mover's name and the truck size. The resident gets the confirmation and the rules by text.
- Tells concierge
The day's list of moves, with suites, times and movers, for the desk and the superintendent who pads the car.
- Handles the exceptions
A move outside the rules, like a Sunday, becomes a request for the property manager. It never approves one itself.
Example call
- CustomerHi, I'm moving into suite 2207 at Harbour Point on the 30th. How do I book the elevator?
- AI agentWelcome to the building. I see 2207 is registered with a tenant moving in on the 30th, under the name Lin. Is that you?
- CustomerYes, Grace Lin.
- AI agentThanks, Grace. On the 30th I have 9 to noon or 1 to 4. Moves use the north elevator and the loading dock on Bay Street.
- Customer9 to noon, please.
- AI agentBooked. There's a 500 dollar refundable deposit by cheque to the corporation, dropped at the management office before the move. The elevator gets padded for you. What size is the truck?
- CustomerA 16-foot one.
- AI agentThat fits the dock. I'll text you the confirmation and the move rules now.
After the call: The elevator calendar shows 2207, 9 to noon on the 30th, 16-foot truck. Concierge and the superintendent have it on the move list, and the office knows a deposit cheque is coming from Grace Lin.
What your team gets
- Move bookings on the elevator calendar with suite, mover and truck size
- Deposits tracked from booking to refund
- A daily move list for concierge and the superintendent
- Moves outside the rules sent to the property manager to decide
- Fewer move calls at the concierge desk
Questions
Can it book deliveries as well as moves?
Yes. Furniture deliveries and contractors who need the elevator are booked the same way, on the rules you set for each.
What if two moves clash?
It only offers open slots, so two moves can't land in the same block.
Does it handle the deposit refund?
It tells the resident how the refund works at your building. The office checks the elevator and releases it.
