Inbound: the customer calls

Winter design consults booked for spring planting

The homeowner who starts dreaming about a new front bed in February books your designer that night. By May, the plan is drawn and the plants are on your order.

When it starts

A caller wants help planning a garden bed, a privacy screen, a front yard or a full backyard.

What the agent does

Learns the yard, the sun and the budget range, books the designer, asks for photos and a survey.

What your team gets

Consults on the designer's calendar with the yard already described.

How it works

  1. Hears the project

A new perennial bed, a cedar hedge for privacy, a front yard that needs curb appeal, or the whole backyard after a pool went in.

  2. Learns the yard

Sun or shade and for how many hours, which way it faces, the soil if they know it, and whether deer or rabbits visit.

  3. Asks the budget range

As a range, so the designer draws a plan they can plant. A caller who'd rather not say is booked anyway.

  4. Books the consult

In the store or at the house, by your rules, with the designer whose calendar has room. Home visits are grouped by area.

  5. Asks for photos

A text link for photos of the yard and a copy of the property survey, attached to the consult.

  6. Explains the fee

Your design fee and whether it comes off the plant order, read as written.

What your team gets

  • Design consults booked in the quiet months, for spring
  • Yard, sun, pests and budget range noted on each consult
  • Photos and surveys attached before the visit
  • Home visits grouped by area on the designer's day
  • A list of design leads to call when the season opens
Set up with you: The team loads your designers, their areas and your design fees, and sets up a connection to your appointment calendar and customer records so consults and photos land where the designers look.
