Outbound: the agent calls

Pickup reminders and unclaimed device calls

Every shop has a drawer of fixed phones nobody came back for, with parts and labour already spent. The agent works down that drawer: a friendly reminder at a week, a firmer one at a month, and your storage terms read out before the deadline.

When it starts

A ticket marked ready with no pickup after the days you set.

What the agent does

Calls with the device, the balance and your hours, books a pickup day, reads storage terms later on.

What your team gets

Fewer devices in the drawer and balances collected on parts already used.

How it works

  1. Builds the list

Tickets ready for pickup past 7, 30 and 60 days, or whatever stages your shop uses.

  2. Calls with the details

Which device, what was done, the balance owing on the ticket, and your hours.

  3. Books a pickup day

Asks when they can come, and notes it on the ticket. A customer away for work can name someone to pick it up.

  4. Reads your terms when it's late

At the later stages, it reads your storage and unclaimed device terms in your own words, calmly.

  5. Offers to ship it

If your shop ships repaired devices, it sends the payment link for the balance and shipping.

  6. Tells the counter

Pickups promised for today show on a list at the counter, so the device is out of the drawer when they arrive.

Example call

  1. AI agentHi Shauna, it's Emma from Fix Point Repair. Your Samsung tablet has been ready since the 2nd. I wanted to check you got our text.
  2. CustomerOh gosh, I completely forgot. Sorry.
  3. AI agentNo problem at all. It got a new charging port, and the balance is 119 dollars. When might you be able to swing by?
  4. CustomerI'm in Ottawa all week for work. Could my husband grab it?
  5. AI agentOf course. What's his name? ... Thanks. I'll note that Darren can pick it up, and he'll just need the ticket number, 4362, and his ID.
  6. CustomerHe'll come Thursday.
  7. AI agentI'll put Thursday on the ticket. Have a good week.

After the call: Ticket 4362 shows Darren as an approved pickup on Thursday, and the counter list has the tablet ready to pull that morning.

What your team gets

  • Reminders on every unclaimed ticket at the stages you set
  • Pickup days and approved pickup people noted on the ticket
  • Your storage terms read out the same way every time
  • Balances collected on devices already repaired
  • A count of devices in the drawer, week over week
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your repair tickets and payment links in RepairDesk, RepairShopr or CellSmart POS, and loads your reminder stages, storage terms and pickup rules.

Questions

Will it threaten to sell their device?

It reads your storage terms in your words, calmly, only at the stage you choose. It never adds anything of its own.

Can someone else pick it up?

Yes, if your shop allows it. It notes the name on the ticket and what that person needs to bring.

Call or text?

You choose. Many shops text first and call only when there's no reply.
