Outbound: the agent calls

Seasonal slip renewals before the waitlist gets them

Seasonal slips are your steadiest income. The agent calls every holder in January, gets a yes with a deposit, and offers each slip that opens to the next boater on the waitlist.

When it starts

Renewal season opens, or a renewal deadline is near.

What the agent does

Calls each slip holder, records a new boat or a change, sends contract and deposit link.

What your team gets

Renewed slips with deposits in, and open slips offered to the waitlist the same week.

How it works

  1. Builds the list

Every seasonal holder, their slip, their boat and last season's rate.

  2. Calls in the off-season

In January or February, at the hours you set, with a text first if you like.

  3. Checks the boat

Same boat? A new, longer boat may need a different slip, and it checks one is open.

  4. Sends the contract

The renewal contract and deposit link by text and email, at this year's rate.

  5. Releases the no's

A holder who isn't coming back is thanked, and the slip goes to the next boater on your waitlist.

  6. Calls the waitlist

It offers the open slip with the size and rate, and books it with a deposit.

Example call

  1. AI agentHi Mr. Kincaid, it's Emma from Bayview Point Marina. Is now okay? It's about renewing your seasonal slip for next summer.
  2. CustomerSure. Actually, we're getting a bigger boat, a 34-footer.
  3. AI agentCongratulations. Your slip on D dock fits up to 30 feet, but E-6 is open and fits 36 with 30 amp. The season there is 4,080. Want me to move you?
  4. CustomerYes, that would be great.
  5. AI agentDone. I'll send the contract for E-6 and the deposit link by email. Your old slip goes to someone on the waitlist.
  6. CustomerPerfect, thanks.

After the call: Mr. Kincaid is renewed in E-6 with the new boat's length on file, the contract and deposit link are sent, and D-11 is offered to the first boater on the waitlist with a 30-foot boat.

What your team gets

  • Every seasonal holder called in the off-season
  • Renewal contracts and deposits sent on the call
  • New boats matched to a slip that fits
  • Open slips offered to the waitlist the same week
  • A renewal board showing who's in, who's out and who's undecided
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your marina software, contract signing and payment processor, and sets the renewal dates, the rates for the season and how the waitlist is ordered.

Questions

Will it change the slip rate?

No. It reads this season's rate from your price list.

What if a holder is undecided?

It notes when they expect to know and calls back then, before your renewal deadline.

Does it handle the waitlist fairly?

It offers slips in your waitlist order, by boat size where your rules say so.
