Outbound: the agent calls

Pickup confirmations for 4:30 a.m. airport runs

An early airport run that cancelled without telling you wastes a driver's first fare of the day. The agent confirms every early booking the night before, so the board in the morning is real.

When it starts

A booked ride before 7 a.m., an airport run, or a limo hire tomorrow.

What the agent does

Calls or texts to confirm the time and address, catches changes, updates the booking.

What your team gets

A morning board that matches who will actually be waiting.

How it works

  1. Builds the list

Each evening, every ride before 7 a.m. and every airport run and limo hire for tomorrow.

  2. Calls or texts

At a time you set, often 7 or 8 in the evening, in your company's name.

  3. Confirms the details

Time, address and the door they'll use. A changed flight changes the pickup time.

  4. Takes the changes

A later time, a different address, a cancellation. The booking changes on the board right away.

  5. Flags the no-replies

Bookings with no answer are marked for dispatch, so they decide whether to send a car.

  6. Sends the driver details

The morning of, a text with the driver's name, the car and the plate once assigned.

Example call

  1. AI agentHi, it's Emma from Harbour City Taxi, confirming your pickup tomorrow at 4:30 at 212 Quinpool, side door, for the airport.
  2. CustomerOh good, you called. Our flight moved to 8:10.
  3. AI agentThanks for telling me. Would 6 a.m. work for the pickup instead?
  4. Customer6 is great.
  5. AI agentDone. A minivan at 6 at the side door. You'll get a text with the driver's name and plate in the morning.

After the call: The booking moves from 4:30 to 6:00 on the board, the 4:30 slot is free for another fare, and the rider gets the driver's details at 5:45.

What your team gets

  • Every early ride confirmed the evening before
  • Changed flights and new times on the board right away
  • Cancellations caught before a driver goes out
  • No-replies flagged for dispatch
  • Driver name, car and plate texted in the morning
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your dispatch system so the agent reads tomorrow's bookings and changes them, and sets which rides get a call, a text or both.

Questions

Call or text?

You choose. Many companies text and call only when there's no reply.

What if they don't answer?

It leaves a short message, texts the details, and marks the booking for dispatch to decide.

Does it confirm limo hires too?

Yes, with the hours, the stops and the headcount.
