Outbound: the agent calls

Accepted students confirmed for the first day

Between the offer and the first class, some students quietly drift away. The agent calls each one, gets the offer accepted and the deposit paid, books orientation, and flags anyone wavering while there's still time to help.

When it starts

An offer sent, an unpaid seat deposit, or orientation coming up.

What the agent does

Confirms the seat, sends the deposit link, books orientation, answers questions.

What your team gets

Confirmed seats, booked orientations, and a list of students who need a person.

How it works

  1. Pulls the accepted list

Students with an offer not yet accepted, a deposit not paid, or no orientation booked.

  2. Calls with congratulations

Warm and real. "Congratulations on your offer to the paramedic program."

  3. Confirms the seat

The acceptance deadline and the deposit amount from the fee schedule, with a secure link.

  4. Books orientation

The date and time for their program, and the first-day details: where to go, parking, the book list.

  5. Hears the worries

Housing, childcare, funding not in yet. She notes what's said and books the right office.

  6. Flags the wavering

A student who says "I'm not sure anymore" goes to an advisor the same day.

Example call

  1. AI agentHi Kayla, it's Emma from Georgian Trail College. Congratulations on your offer to practical nursing in January! Is now a good time?
  2. CustomerThank you! Yes.
  3. AI agentYour offer has a 500 dollar seat deposit due December 10. Would you like me to text you the link?
  4. CustomerYes. I'm waiting on my OSAP though. Is that a problem?
  5. AI agentI'll book you with financial aid to go over timing. Would Thursday at 2 work? And orientation is January 3 at 9. Shall I add you?
  6. CustomerBoth, please.

After the call: Kayla has the deposit link, a financial aid call Thursday at 2 about OSAP timing, and a spot at the January 3 orientation. Admissions sees her as likely to start.

What your team gets

  • Offers accepted and deposits paid before the deadline
  • Orientation booked for every confirmed student
  • Funding and housing worries passed to the right office
  • Students who waver flagged to an advisor the same day
  • A seat report by program as the start date nears
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your student information system for offers, deposits and orientation, and agrees with admissions the calling dates, the deposit message and who takes students who are unsure.

Questions

Will it give financial aid advice?

No. It notes the question and books the student with financial aid.

Can it call over the summer?

Yes. That's when many students drift away, so most colleges call in July and again before the first day.

What if a student declines?

It thanks them, asks if they'd like to defer if you offer that, and marks the seat open for the waitlist.
