Inbound: the customer calls

Tripped power posts and loud sites after dark

At 11 at night the office is dark but the park isn't. Campers with no power, a split water line or a party on the next loop reach the right person, and everything else waits politely for morning.

When it starts

A camper calls after the gate office closes.

What the agent does

Finds their site, sorts urgent from morning, warm-transfers urgent calls to the attendant on duty, takes the rest as notes.

What your team gets

Fewer wake-ups for small things, every night problem logged by site, and a morning list for maintenance.

How it works

  1. Matches the caller to a site

By name or site number, so the attendant knows exactly where to drive the cart.

  2. Tries the easy fix first

For a tripped power post, it walks them through checking their own breaker and the post's reset, the way your maintenance lead explains it.

  3. Sorts what can't wait

No power with a medical device, a water line spraying, a fallen branch, a noise complaint after quiet hours: these go to the attendant now. A slow drain goes on the morning list.

  4. Puts the attendant through

Warm transfer with a short private summary first: site, problem, who's calling. If the attendant doesn't pick up, it tries the backup.

  5. Emergencies to 911

A camper describing an injury, a fire or a missing child is told to call 911 first, and the attendant is called right after.

  6. Leaves a clean morning list

Every night call, by site, with what was done, for the manager and maintenance at 7 a.m.

Example call

  1. CustomerHi, sorry, I know it's late. We just lost power at our trailer.
  2. AI agentNo need to apologize. What site are you on?
  3. CustomerThirty-three.
  4. AI agentThanks. First, can you check the breaker inside your trailer, and then the 30-amp breaker on the post by your site? Sometimes it's just tripped.
  5. CustomerThe post one was off. I flipped it and nothing.
  6. AI agentOkay, that needs someone to look. I'm putting you through to Glen, our attendant tonight. One moment.
  7. AI agent(privately, to Glen) Site 33, power out, post breaker reset didn't help, camper is on the line.

After the call: Glen takes the call already knowing the site and what was tried, drives over, and finds a tripped breaker on the pedestal panel for the 30s. The call and the fix are on the morning list for maintenance.

What your team gets

  • Urgent night calls warm-transferred to the attendant on duty
  • Small problems held for the morning, not a 1 a.m. wake-up
  • A morning list of every night call by site
  • Noise complaints logged with the time and the site
  • Repeat problems on the same post easy to spot
Set up with you: The team loads your night rules and attendant schedule, sets up a connection to your reservation system so callers are matched to their site, and agrees with your manager what counts as urgent and who the backup is.

Questions

Will it wake my attendant for everything?

No. You set what goes through at night. Everything else becomes a note on the morning list.

What does it do with a noise complaint?

It takes the site doing the noise and the caller's site, and puts it through to the attendant if it's after quiet hours. It never calls the other camper itself.

What about a real emergency?

It tells the caller to call 911, then calls the attendant at once with the site.
