Thursday office lunches booked on 48 hours' notice
An office manager calls on Tuesday for lunch for 30 on Thursday. Emma checks the 48-hour rule, books the Working Lunch package for noon on the fourth floor, and the order is on the kitchen's Thursday sheet before she hangs up.
An office, school or clinic calls to order lunch, breakfast or a meeting tray.
Checks your notice and minimums, picks the package, takes counts, books the drop-off and sends the invoice details.
An order on the kitchen's prep sheet with headcount, drop-off time, floor and dietary plates.
How it works
- Checks the notice
Your rules by order size: 48 hours for lunch for 30, a week for 100, same-day only for the small trays if the kitchen allows it.
- Fits the package
Working Lunch, hot buffet, breakfast or coffee break, from your menu and per-person prices. It suggests the one that fits the headcount.
- Counts the plates
How many vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free or halal, not just "some vegetarians".
- Gets the drop-off right
Address, floor, loading dock or front desk, who signs, and the time food should be set out, not just arrive.
- Takes the billing
Company name, PO number if they use one, who gets the invoice, and whether it goes on the account or a payment link.
- Confirms in writing
A text and email with the order, the counts and the drop-off time, so the office manager can forward it to their boss.

Questions
What if they call too late for our notice?
It says so kindly and offers what the kitchen can do, like the cold trays, or sends the request to the chef to approve. It never promises a hot buffet you can't make.
Can it take the same order every week?
Yes. A standing Thursday lunch is set up once and confirmed each week, with the count updated on the call.
Does it take card numbers?
No. Orders go on the client's account, or it texts your payment link with the confirmation.
Can it handle the coffee and muffins too?
Yes. Breakfast, coffee service and afternoon trays are on the menu it works from, with their own notice and minimums.
