Outbound: the agent calls

Open shifts offered down the worker list

Filling six spots used to mean a coordinator on the phone for two hours. The agent calls your available workers at the same time, in the order you'd call them, and the order fills while the coordinator handles the client.

When it starts

A new order, an extension, or a booked worker dropping off.

What the agent does

Calls qualified, available workers in order, reads the shift, books each yes.

What your team gets

Shifts filled with confirmed names, and every no with its reason.

How it works

  1. Picks who to call

Workers with the role, tickets and gear the order needs, marked available that day, who've worked that site before or live closest, by your order.

  2. Calls many at once

Several calls at the same time, down the list, so a six-person order isn't one call after another.

  3. Reads the shift

Site and address, start and end, the pay rate on the order, who to report to, what to wear and bring.

  4. Answers questions

Parking, the bus route, breaks, whether it's the same building as last time. From the order and the site notes.

  5. Books each yes

The worker is placed on the order and gets a text with the address, time, contact and gear.

  6. Stops when it's full

Once every spot is taken, the rest of the list hears the shift is filled. If the list runs out, the coordinator is told.

Example call

  1. AI agentHi Kwame, it's Emma from Keystone Staffing. I have a shift tomorrow if you want it. Have a minute?
  2. CustomerSure, where is it?
  3. AI agentMaplecrest Foods on Tomken, the sanitation line you did in August. 6 to 2:30, tomorrow through Friday, at 19.50 an hour.
  4. CustomerDo I still need the hairnet and boots?
  5. AI agentYes, steel-toes and hi-vis. They give you the hairnet at door 4. You'd report to Victor.
  6. CustomerOkay, put me down.
  7. AI agentYou're on. I'll text you the details now, and check in with you tomorrow at 5. Thanks, Kwame.

After the call: Kwame is placed on the Maplecrest order for three days and has the details by text. Five of six spots are filled within 25 minutes, and the agent is still calling for the last one.

What your team gets

  • Orders filled from your own worker pool
  • Workers placed on the order with a text of the details
  • Every no and its reason on the worker's profile
  • The coordinator told only when the list runs out
  • Time to fill, by order and by branch
Set up with you: The team sets up a connection to your staffing system for orders, worker skills and availability, and sets with you the call order, calling hours and when a coordinator steps in.

Questions

Who does it call first?

The order you set: workers who've been to that site, then by rating or distance, only if they have the tickets and are marked available.

Can it call before 6 a.m.?

Only inside the hours you set. Many agencies allow early calls for same-day shifts.

Can workers say yes by text?

Yes. Workers who'd rather text get the shift by text and reply to accept.
