Standing every-three-week cuts for regulars
The regulars are the shop. The agent locks in "my usual with Marco, every third Friday at 5", keeps it on the books for the year, and moves one date when life gets in the way without touching the rest.
A regular asks to book his usual on a set rotation, or calls to skip or move one visit.
Sets the standing appointment, checks the barber's future Fridays, moves single dates on request.
Regulars locked into the barber's column for months ahead, with reminders before each cut.
How it works
- Hears "my usual"
It finds his last few cuts and says them back: skin fade, number one on the sides, beard trim, with Marco.
- Checks the rotation fits
Looks at the barber's columns weeks ahead and flags any dates already taken or days the barber is off, offering the closest time instead.
- Sets the standing spot
Every two, three or four weeks at the same time, booked for as far ahead as your shop allows.
- Moves one cut, not all
"I'm away the 14th" moves that date only. The rest of the rotation stays put.
- Watches for barber time off
When a barber books vacation, every regular in those weeks is called with two other times or another barber, before they show up to an empty chair.
Example call
- CustomerHey, it's Tyler. Can you set me up with Marco every three weeks? Fridays after work.
- AI agentSure, Tyler. Your last three were skin fades with a beard line-up. Marco has 5:30 on Fridays, starting next week. Want that, every third Friday?
- CustomerPerfect.
- AI agentOne thing: Marco's off the Friday of the long weekend in May. I can put you Thursday at 5:30 that week. Okay?
- CustomerYeah, that's fine.
- AI agentDone. You're booked every third Friday at 5:30 through the end of June, with Thursday for the long weekend. You'll get a text the day before each one.
After the call: Marco's Friday 5:30 is held every third week through June with Tyler's usual service, the long-weekend cut sits on Thursday, and Tyler's confirmation lists every date.
What your team gets
- Standing appointments held on each barber's column for months ahead
- Single dates moved without breaking the rotation
- Regulars called before a barber's vacation, not after
- Each regular's usual cut and clipper guards on his card
Questions
Will standing spots fill a barber's whole week?
Only as much as you allow. You set how many standing spots each barber holds so there's always room for new clients and walk-ins.
What if a regular stops showing?
After the number of misses you choose, the agent calls him to check in, and the standing spot can be released.
Can he change barbers?
Yes. It moves the rotation to the new barber if that barber has the time, and notes the change for both.
