Walk-in piercing hours and minors' ID rules
Most piercing calls are the same five questions: do you take walk-ins, what does a helix cost, what metal is the jewellery, and can my fifteen-year-old come. Each one gets your answer, the same way every time, and the rules land in writing.
A call about a piercing, a jewellery change or a minor's piercing.
Gives walk-in hours, jewellery and prices from your list, explains the age and ID rules, books the piercer.
Booked piercings, clients arriving with the right ID, and fewer arguments at the counter.
How it works
- Finds out what they want pierced
Lobes, helix, nostril, septum, a jewellery change or a downsize. It knows which ones your piercer does and which ones you don't offer.
- Gives your prices and jewellery
The piercing price and the starting jewellery price from your list, with the metals you use, like implant titanium. Nothing it hasn't been given.
- Explains the age rules
Which piercings you do for minors, from what age, and that a parent or guardian comes along with photo ID. It doesn't bend them for a caller who pushes.
- Walk-in or booked
Shares the walk-in hours, or books a time with the piercer if your studio books piercings. Downsizes are booked about when the piercer says.
- Texts the rules
Sends the hours, the ID list and what to eat beforehand, so the parent arrives prepared and the teen isn't turned away.
Example call
- CustomerHi, do you do walk-in piercings? My daughter's fifteen and wants a second hole in her ears.
- AI agentWe do. Lobe piercings are walk-in from noon to 7, Tuesday to Saturday. For anyone under sixteen, a parent or guardian comes along with photo ID, and we need her ID or health card too.
- CustomerOkay. And what's the cost?
- AI agentIt's 45 dollars per lobe with the piercing, and basic titanium studs start at 30. Nadia can show her other styles when you're in.
- CustomerCan we come Saturday?
- AI agentSaturday works. Afternoons get busy, so earlier is quicker. I'll text you the hours and the ID list so you have them handy.
After the call: The parent has a text with Saturday's walk-in hours and both pieces of ID to bring. The call summary notes a fifteen-year-old for second lobes, so Nadia isn't surprised at the counter.
What your team gets
- Piercing calls answered with your prices and jewellery
- Age rules given the same way to every caller
- Parents told exactly what ID to bring, in writing
- Piercer bookings and downsize appointments on the book
- A note on each call so the counter knows who's coming
Questions
Can it say yes to a minor for a piercing you don't do?
No. It follows the rules you set for each piercing and age, and tells the caller kindly when something isn't offered.
What about a jewellery problem, like a stud stuck in a swollen ear?
It takes what they describe and puts them through to the piercer. If it sounds like swelling, heat or discharge, the piercer hears it first, and the caller isn't given a diagnosis.
Can it book downsizes?
Yes. It books the downsize with the piercer around the time they suggest, and notes which piercing and jewellery.
