Outbound: the agent calls

Boat and RV parking waitlist called when a spot opens

In September everyone wants somewhere to put the boat, and outdoor spots are full. When one opens, the agent works the waitlist in order and fills it the same day.

When it starts

An outdoor parking spot or large drive-up unit comes open.

What the agent does

Calls the waitlist in order, checks length and type, offers the spot, books the move-in.

What your team gets

Empty spots filled the day they open, and a waitlist that stays current.

How it works

  1. Sees the spot open

    A move-out on a 35 foot outdoor space, a covered spot or a 10 by 30 drive-up.

  2. Calls in order

The waitlist for that size, oldest first, inside your calling hours.

  3. Checks the fit

Boat with trailer, travel trailer, fifth wheel or motorhome. Total length with the hitch, and whether it fits the spot.

  4. Offers the spot

The monthly or seasonal rate on file, and how long she can hold it before calling the next name.

  5. Books the move-in

A drop-off time, the registration and insurance to bring, and the lease link by text.

  6. Keeps the list tidy

A caller who found somewhere else is taken off. One not ready this time keeps their place.

Example call

  1. AI agentHi Mr. Lefebvre, it's Emma from Lakeland Storage in Orillia. You're on our list for outdoor parking. A 30 foot spot just opened. Still looking?
  2. CustomerYes! For my boat. It's a 22 footer on a trailer.
  3. AI agentWith the trailer tongue, roughly how long is it all together?
  4. CustomerAbout 27 feet.
  5. AI agentThat fits. The spot is 95 a month, or 750 for the October to April season. I can hold it until tomorrow at noon. Want it?
  6. CustomerThe season. Can I drop it off Saturday morning?
  7. AI agentSaturday at 9 works. Bring the boat's registration and proof of insurance. I'll text you the lease to sign now.

After the call: The 30 foot spot is reserved for the season with the boat and trailer length noted, Saturday 9:00 is on the drop-off schedule, and the next three names on the waitlist keep their places.

What your team gets

  • Outdoor spots filled from the waitlist the day they open
  • Vehicle type and total length checked before the offer
