Inbound: the customer calls

Same-day orders taken before the noon cut-off

"Is it too late for today?" gets a straight answer: yes, if it's before your cut-off and in your zone, with the order on the van. After the cut-off, a nice option for tomorrow.

When it starts

A caller wants flowers delivered today, often to a workplace or hospital.

What the agent does

Checks the time against your cut-off and the address against your zones, takes the order.

What your team gets

Same-day orders on today's van in the order they came in.

How it works

  1. Checks the clock

Your same-day cut-off, read from your rules. Before it, same-day is open. After it, tomorrow or a pickup.

  2. Checks the zone

The address against your delivery zones and the charge for each, from your list.

  3. Checks the van

Whether today's route still has room for that area.

  4. Takes the order

The design, the card, the recipient's phone, and the delivery details: a business's hours, a hospital's room number and rules.

  5. Notes the workplace

Reception's hours, a floor, or a back entrance, so the driver gets in.

  6. Confirms delivery

A text to the sender when the flowers are delivered.

What your team gets

  • Same-day orders taken right up to your cut-off
  • Delivery zones and charges from your list
  • Workplace and hospital delivery notes for the driver

  • Orders after the cut-off offered tomorrow, not lost
Set up with you: The team loads your cut-off, delivery zones and charges, and sets up a connection to your florist order system and delivery route (Floranext, QuickFlora or Onfleet) so the agent sees today's van and room on it.

Questions

Will it promise same-day after the cut-off?

No. It offers tomorrow, a pickup today, or your rules for a rush if you have one.

Does it know hospital rules?

It notes the room and the hospital's rules you give it, like no latex balloons in some wards.

Can it take orders on Valentine's Day?

Yes, many at once, while your designers keep building.
